ESDM Philosophy
ESDM model – Positive therapy
We specialise in working with families of young children (aged 5 and under) with challenges in communication, social skills and other developmental areas.
Amazing Kids believes parents and families, as well as other significant individuals in a child’s life are the most important resources for a child’s skill development. We believe that the child’s everyday environments and routines are the most essential learning environments for change and is done through empowering families and caregivers to deliver best results to their child.
Our Interests
Amazing Kids believes that advancements and research is the forefront of providing families with evidence-based, best practice approaches. Delivered to families and their child’s team with knowledge and empowerment to generalise skills learnt through intensive programs in clinical, home and early learning centres.
Amazing Kids also recommends parent training to compliment their child’s intensive program and recommends families be in touch regarding one on one parent training options through telehealth or in clinic.
Studies demonstrate that parent involvement in the early start Denver model via coaching from professionals improved developmental outcomes, especially in the language domain, and social communicational behaviours of toddlers with ASD*.
