Christie is the Allied Health Services Manager at Amazing Kids. In this role, she leads the allied health portfolio across Occupational Therapy and Speech Pathology, and partners closely with the Clinical Behaviour Leads. Her responsibilities include clinical governance and quality systems, supervision frameworks and supporting the allied health team. Christie ensures and compliance in policies and procedure development of Amazing Kids to ensure best outcomes for the team and their clients.
Christie is a registered Occupational Therapist with a Master of Occupational Therapy degree from La Trobe University. She has completed the OTA Formal Supervision Program. She is currently accredited under the Better Access to Mental Health initiative.
Her professional experience began in the public health sector, where she developed specialised expertise in Child and Youth Mental Health. In this capacity, she worked extensively with children and families presenting with emotional dysregulation and behavioural challenges, providing Occupational Therapy interventions alongside clinical case management. Transitioning to the private paediatric sector, Christie has held leadership roles, including Senior Clinician and Team Leader, in private paediatric settings, working with neurodiverse children and youth. She is presently the Allied Health Services Manager at Amazing Kids.
Christie is passionate about neuro-affirming practices, sensory approaches, and the DIR Floortime model. She adopts a trauma-informed lens in her work and is dedicated to supporting children and young people through developmentally appropriate interventions. Sophie has spent most of her ABA career working in centre-based settings, providing Early Intensive Behavioural Interventions. She also has experience working with people across the lifespan with a variety of diagnoses. Sophie spent the last 3 years working in a leading ABA centre in London. Sophie highly values the importance of building positive relationships with families, multi-disciplinary teams and the wider community.

Toby completed a Graduate Diploma in Early Childhood Education at RMIT University and is registered as an Early Childhood Teacher with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT). Toby has experience using the Skills-Based Treatment (SBT) approach, ensuring that children experience a safe, respectful, and trustworthy space for foundational learning. Toby has previously worked with children from three months old to five years old in childcare and kindergarten and has experience supporting children with autism in the classroom environment. Toby’s passionate is in supporting children with special needs, which led her to complete a Masters of Education majoring in Inclusive and Special Education at Monash University. She strongly believes every child has the right to assess quality education and is passionate about utilising ESDM to support children with special needs to maximise their potential through play.

With a focus on safety, dignity, and trust, Sandra has experience implementing the Skills-Based Treatment (SBT) protocol to foster essential learning for children. Before moving to Melbourne in 2022, Sandra worked as a Learning Support Assistant/Registered Behaviour Technician, providing 1:1 behaviour support for children with Autism and other learning difficulties from ages 3-9 in a mainstream school environment as well as clinical settings. Sandra is passionate about child development and equipping families with strategies to support their children in achieving their full potential. As well as being advanced trained in the ESDM, Cristine is committed to creating a learning environment that upholds safety, dignity, and trust through the use of the Skills-Based Treatment (SBT). Cristine has also worked as a support worker helping children with a variety of disabilities such as supporting behaviour regulation and community inclusion. She’s always been interested in children’s development and is very passionate about helping children develop functional skills and discovering their unique strengths. The best thing about the job for Cristine is seeing the positive changes early support makes in the lives of the children and their families.

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce from Christ University, Bangalore, and a Montessori Diploma from Ratan Tata Institute, Mumbai, which marked the beginning of my journey into working with young children. After graduating, I moved back home to Kuwait, where I worked for two years at ABC of Kuwait, supporting children with additional needs, including autism, ADHD, and other intellectual disabilities.
Through both my academic training and hands-on experience, I have developed a strong foundation in understanding behaviour, individualised support, and child development.
